BHK Promotes Access to Local Food Sources for Families

BHK Child Development plays a vital role in promoting access to local food sources for families in the community. One of their key initiatives is collaborating with the From the Ground Farmers Market Collective, which a local non-profit that collaborates with local farmers and food producers to ensure that families have access to fresh and nutritious food. By partnering with such local stakeholders, BHK can support the local economy while also providing families with high-quality food options. Fourteen BHK families currently participate in a 12-week Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program lead by From the Ground Farmers Market Collective. This collaboration helps to create a sustainable and resilient food system that benefits both the families and the community.
